Those that know me well, know that my 98 Blazer hasn’t been up to snuff as of late. It hasn’t even been a sniffle. So I quite frequently drive with my hazard lights on because going up hill at times I’m not able to top 40mph. On the freeways this can be a pain.
So yesterday morning, I’m going to work down Tower Rd., in the dark, and feeling pretty good about myself because the ole Chevy actually was topping 50mph, the limit along that stretch is only 45mph!
And some, well, I won’t say, comes up on my tail, tailgates then whips around me and flips me off!!!!
I was already OVER the speed limit!
WHY ARE WE CONSTANTLY IN SUCH A HURRY?????
Guess what?
The (fill in your own term here) was stopped at the stoplight on 104th and Tower and I pulled up right behind him!
I saw him glancing in the mirror and I hope he felt like the (insert term here) that he was.
There are just too many angry people in the world. I tried to pray for him and walk a mile in his shoes and surmise that really he was a nice (insert term here) and that he was just late and that his boss had told him that if he were late another time that he would lose his job and a myriad of other thoughts… but in the end… it really bothered me that he was acting like such an (insert term here).
Road Rage!
That’s why I wrote a book about it…
(I feel like getting people license plates and posting them on the internet)
