So, when I was Gavin’s age, GI Joe hit the market; and now, he’s back 45 years later!!!!!
Yes, the remake of the original (which by the by, was designed to look like Rock Hudson… at least the Army version was) is back.
At Christmas I was passing by the WalMart shelf and found the re-release for $10.00!
I still have my originals from the 1960’s and now I have brought back their cloned twins to fight the good fight along with them!
In the backyard trenches and foxholes, hiding behind twigs and branches, and repelling from the top of Aspen trees, he’s back! The beachheads are swarming and the Marines have landed!
His right hand is even crooked so he can hold that .45 with his two fingers.
Does it get any better than that???? I would submit to you that it does not.
